body 11 is/was the one-man project of tim stickelbrucks. inspired by the late 70s/early 80s icons such as omd, human league, and cabaret voltaire, tim wrote and recorded 4 songs in 1987 in his apartment and self-released the mind 7 inch ep in 1988. rather obscure at the time, the 7 gained cult status later in the 90s when collectors and word of mouth fans began seeking out copies of the record.medical records is proud to reissue the mind ep 4 songs along with unreleased recordings created at the same time. the unreleased tracks were songs that were distributed only on cassette (to friends, etc) at the time. the tracks have been transferred from cassette.

after cooperating with other dj s, metacid decided to go back to basics. this 6th release is a true acid experience !! on the a-side expansion just keeps on banging your head with the two 8-steps 303 basslines !!! the clap cuts right trough and the wicked synth turns your head around. this will certainly keep the dancefloor moving. there would be no metacid release without a track fully packed with acid. this track on the b-side alters different beautiful basslines and has a deeper and more progressive feel to it. saur is the last but certainly not the least track on this release. with the acoustic percussion and the strings this track tells a nice story and is perfect for the beginning of the evening.

just as summer arrives, sylphes bosses holdie gawn & micawber are delivering their third ep hypofermsenso. on the a side hypoferm has holdie gawns trademark sound, with analogue bouncy warm snares and hi-hats, accompanied by synthesized modulations and raw filtering action, forming a chuggy, sleek rhythm with deep reaching basslines and a lot of movement. on the flip, micawbers -senso- offers a tribute to experimental composer john cage by incorporating parts of his vocal works into creating a landscape of mysticism, riding along sub-bass tones and syncopated drums, an afterhours number with a psychedelic twist

canadian artist paolo rocco makes his debut on saved with people say. from the top there is a unique seductive pad that pans creatively over the cut back percussion. the bass line enters early on and stands out with its original pattern and alternating frequencies, working well with the crisp clap that programmes itself in and out. the vocals are what makes the track. they are catchy just like the bass line, and are processed effectively, maintaining a nice, fresh groove.
over on the flip side is a remix from label boss nic fanciulli that utilises the original parts effectively and maintains an energetic pace with smart programming. both mixes have been creating a real buzz across scene.
